Welcome to UniQR (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the UniQR mobile application (“App”) operated by an individual developer based in Vietnam.

By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our App.

2. App Description and Services

2.1 Primary Functions

UniQR provides the following services:

• QR code scanning using device camera
• QR code generation
• Local storage of QR codes in collections
• QR code scanning from photo library images

2.2 Free vs. Premium Features

• Free Version: Basic QR code scanning and generation with 7-day history
• Premium Subscription: Extended functionality including 30-day history and additional features
• No Advertisements: We do not display advertisements in our App

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 No Account Required

• UniQR does not require user registration or account creation
• All data is stored locally on your device
• No personal information is collected or stored on our servers

3.2 Device Requirements

• Compatible iOS or Android device
• Camera access for QR code scanning
• Photo library access for image scanning
• Internet connection for subscription management and analytics

4. Subscription Services

4.1 Premium Subscription

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscription fees are charged by the respective app stores
• We do not handle payment processing directly

4.2 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

4.3 Subscription Changes

• We reserve the right to modify subscription features and pricing
• Changes will be communicated through app updates
• Existing subscriptions remain at current terms until renewal

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use UniQR for:

• Personal QR code scanning and generation
• Business-related QR code activities
• Educational purposes
• Any lawful activities

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not use UniQR for:

• Illegal activities or violations of applicable laws
• Creating QR codes that link to malicious, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Generating QR codes for spam, phishing, or fraudulent purposes
• Attempting to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the App
• Interfering with the App’s operation or other users’ experience
• Violating intellectual property rights
• Creating QR codes that contain:
  • Malware or viruses
  • Illegal content
  • Harassment or hate speech
  • Adult content intended for minors
  • Copyright-infringing material

5.3 Content Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for QR codes you create and scan
• We do not monitor, review, or control QR code content
• You assume all risks associated with QR code content

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 App Ownership

• UniQR app, including its design, code, and features, is owned by the developer
• You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App
• This license does not grant you ownership rights

6.2 User-Generated Content

• QR codes you create remain your property
• We do not claim ownership of your QR codes or scan history
• Your QR codes are stored locally on your device only

6.3 Third-Party Content

• You are responsible for respecting third-party intellectual property rights
• We are not liable for copyright or trademark violations in user-generated QR codes

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 Privacy Policy

• Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy
• We collect minimal anonymous analytics data only
• All personal data remains on your device

7.2 Data Security

• You are responsible for your device’s security
• We recommend using device locks and encryption
• We cannot guarantee the security of data stored on your device

8. App Availability and Modifications

8.1 Service Availability

• We strive to maintain App availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may temporarily suspend the App for maintenance or updates
• We reserve the right to discontinue the App with reasonable notice

8.2 App Updates

• We may release updates to improve functionality and fix bugs
• Some updates may be required for continued use
• Updates may modify features or introduce new terms

10. Indemnification

11. Termination

• Delete the App to remove all local data

11.2 Termination by Developer

• We may terminate or suspend access for Terms violations
• We may discontinue the App with reasonable notice
• Termination does not affect existing subscription terms

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

12.1 Applicable Law

• These Terms are governed by Vietnamese law
• International users retain rights under their local consumer protection laws

12.2 Dispute Resolution

• Disputes should first be addressed through direct contact
• We encourage good faith resolution of conflicts
• Legal disputes shall be resolved in Vietnamese courts

• Users outside Vietnam may have additional rights under local laws
